Rising fuel costs cause late buses!

Published by onejia at 12:12 am under Uncategorized, family Edit This

So today being the first day of work I had my plan all tripped out using the local public transportation “trip planner” website. A trip I have taken a million times with many visits to the new employers office prior to employment. didn’t think twice about how many passengers would slow my normally scheduled super smooth traffic, stress free ride using local transportation. A 30 block ride that once took 10 min with a few variables due to how many stops it made. Now a-days…30 minimum. There I was swearing at the lateness of the buss to my stop only to watch the repeated pattern on the lolly-gagging penny pinching new riders trying to figure out where they wanted to go. Some even got 1/2 way off the buss to turn right around deciding they didn’t want to walk one extra god forbidding block. Tick-tock went the clock that was bringing me by the second closer and closer to being late on my first day of work. Time seemed exaggerated as my frustrations grew with fellow passengers that didn’t have a clue. “Did I make it?” you ask? Thank god for late bosses is all I can say. Yes I was late. Now I know but dang I wish people would just get off my buss!
